Zengas’ Direct Methane Dissociation technology (DMD) effectively removes carbon from natural gas prior to combustion, thereby preventing millions of tonnes of CO₂ emissions from being released into the atmosphere each year. For each tonne of carbon removed from natural gas, four tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions are prevented and every million tonnes of CO₂ is equivalent to the annual emissions of 250,000 cars.

Zengas’ scalable DMD technology is deployable anywhere natural gas is used as a combustion fuel. DMD is easily adapted for use in existing gas systems, making wide-scale decarbonization practical. Most importantly,  CO₂ never enters the picture, there is no need for expensive flue gas capture or treatment.
